8 грудня в селі Копище відбулись громадські обговорення стосовно реконструкції адмін. приміщення сільської ради на дитячий садочок.
На громадське обговорення зібралися 61 житель села, також були присутні: в.о. старости Михайло Михалець, голова Олевської РДА Дмитро Лазаренко, депутат відповідного округу Василь Снігур, заступник начальника відділу освіти, молоді та спорту Алла Гаврилюк, а також два депутата Олевської ОТГ Зеновій Фіц та Станіслав Бідюк.
На питання Василя Снігура, чому не виділяються заплановані 89 000 грн. на освітлення в селі Копище, в.о. старости Михайло Михалець обмовився, що розмовляв з мером Олегом Омельчуком, і мер відповів — гроші є, але він їх не дає так як депутат міськради по цьому округу В. Снігур критикує мера.
Жителів громади які були присутні там, ця заява в.о. старости шокувала.
Тепер зрозуміло, чому тільки після того як було написано звернення до губернатора, почали робити освітлення в Майдані Копищанському, хоча субвенція 290 000 грн. прийшла ще в липні. Так само, і з проектом на дитячий садочок тягнули до останнього.
Ці громадські слухання показали, що мер і його оточення, зловживають владою загравшись в політику.
