ДП «Олевськторф» знаходиться в стадії банкрутства. Причина банальна, це підприємство не платить податки, хоча у нього є ліцензії, були виділені землі для розробки, так і сума не така вже й велика, як для підприємства такого рівня. Але як правило, після маніпуляцій з банкрутством, такі підприємства, разом з технікою, ліцензіями, землею і працівниками, виявляються в руках у олігархів або шахраїв від влади, які живуть далеко від Олевська.
Навіщо підприємству, яке банкрутує давати землю під видобуток корисних копалин? Земля все таки належить громаді, а кому вона буде належати після банкрутства, поки невідомо
Державне управління такими підприємствами показало свою неефективність, тому що над ними величезна кількість непотрібних людей і посередників.
Питання. Навіщо Олевської громаді годувати київських чиновників з Державного концерну «Укрторф» та ДП «Житомирторф» з Житомира? Це абсолютно непотрібні ланки, та і не дивлячись на те що КП «ОлевськРесурсІнвест» це місцева компанія, вона теж буде тягарем для видобувної компанії.
Якщо хочуть посадові особи міської ради Олевська розвивати видобуток торфу в цьому регионі, нехай оголошують відкритий конкурс, після узгодження з громадою, і запрошують всі видобувні компанії для участі в конкурсі. А той хто запропонує кращі умови громаді, забезпечить повний цикл виробництва виробів з торфу в Олевської ОТГ, нехай займається розробкою торфу.
Проблеми підприємства ДП «Олевськторф», мають вирішуватися менеджментом підприємства, а ні мером Олевська і заступником. Мер Олевська і його заместінтель, депутат Житомирської обласної ради від ВО «Батьківщина» О.Ніколайчук , високооплачувані чиновники, зарплата разом з преміями і доплатами, яких під 2 000 гривень за 1 робочий день. Нехай цей час вони використовують раціонально.
