Голова обласної ради Володимир Ширма 6 лютого провів зустріч з представниками бізнесу, що планують впроваджувати на території області проект з розвитку хмелярства.
Акціонерне товариство з іноземними інвестиціями «Київ-Атлантик Україна», яке виявило бажання розвивати хмелярство на теренах Житомирщини, зацікавлено в отриманні 150 га землі під хмільники в Пулинському або Ємільчинському чи Олевському районах.
Як зазначив один із співвласників товариства Девід Свірі, основним видом продукції, яку виробляє компанія, є високоякісні комбікорми, вітамінні добавки для всіх тварин.
«Компанія спеціалізується на виробництві високоякісної сільськогосподарської продукції, зберіганні і переробці сировини, постачає сільгоспвиробникам техніку та засоби для ведення господарства, випускає комбікорми і кормові концентрати. Ми плануємо розширяти виробництво і готові інвестувати кошти в розвиток хмелярства на Житомирщині», — розповів Девід Свірі.
Спілкуючись з представниками бізнесу, Володимир Ширма зазначив, що обласна влада зацікавлена в інвесторах і буде всебічно допомагати в реалізації інвестиційних проектів на Житомирщині.
«Інвестиції в економіку нашого регіону є одним з найбільш важливих чинників для подальшого розвитку Житомирщини. Ми готові підтримувати чесних і відповідальних інвесторів, які прозоро працюють, створюють додаткові робочі місця, сприяють розвитку інфраструктури, наповнюють місцеві бюджети. Передусім зацікавлені саме в тих інвесторах, які вкладатимуть кошти у сільське господарство. Такі інвестиційні проекти сприятимуть зростанню рівня та якості життя населення в районах», — наголосив Володимир Ширма.
Довідково. Акціонерне товариство з іноземними інвестиціями «Київ-Атлантик Україна» засноване в Україні у 1994 році, офіси якої розміщено в м. Києві та м. Миронівка, Київської області. Акціонерами товариства є компанії США, Німеччини, Франції, Європейський банк реконструкції та розвитку та українські сільськогосподарські підприємства. У 1997 році в м.Миронівці побудовано Інтегрований сільськогосподарський центр постачання, обслуговування та переробки.
